Christmas Ornaments

It’s time for a change! If you’re like many of us, last year you vowed to update, replace and rejuvenate your ornament collection. Don’t wait! Stop by now for the best selection of a wide variety of themes, styles, sizes and colors.

Maybe this is the time to change themes. Check out the various collections including coastal, traditional Victorian, fairies and sports. Scattering a few new ornaments on the tree and continuing the theme along the mantle or tables perks up the holiday ambiance. Show your gardening passion by putting seven or eight flower ornaments on the tree, similar potted plants by the fireplace and some antique garden tools with bows.

Perhaps your family has a sports interest. Large Santas posing as different figures atop a table show your preferences. Santa is a jolly old guy as he skis, fishes, pours wine or just carries a large bag full of goodies.

Are you tired of the hodge-podge of different colors? Make a statement combining different shades of one color. On the other hand, try a new combination of colors. Deep blue, turquoise and silver creates a new ambiance. Perhaps emphasizing red and green and interweaving plaid ribbons and bows will simplify the jumble and delight your eyes. (Leave the other colors in the closet until another year.)

Don’t forget the lights! Several decades ago, bubble lights were the rage. They’re new again in a variety of sizes and colors. Icicle lights, twinkle lights, little tiny lights create different moods. The new LED lights are also economical and last for many years.

No matter what your style, Nutcracker statues are always great in the holiday house…they’re traditional but never out of style.
